Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a Store Associate to support merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and cleaning to keep the store in top condition. You will work with the ALDI team to deliver excellent customer service and ensure accurate POS transactions.

The role is full-time with an average of 30+ hours per week and a starting wage of $19.00 per hour, with scheduled increases in subsequent years. Benefits include comprehensive health, retirement, and employee programs.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and with others.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes.
• Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance.
• Ability to meet availability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist management with issues as needed.
• Process purchases using the POS system accurately.
• Stock shelves and merchandise displays following planograms.
• Open additional check lanes to improve checkout efficiency.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures.
• Support curbside pickup orders and ensure timely delivery to customers’ vehicles.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization per company standards.
• Assist management in achieving operational efficiency and loss prevention goals.
