Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand and write English at the eighth-grade level.
• Eighth-grade level math to make change and complete shift reports.
• Sufficient visual acuity to check identification and process money orders.
• Ability to read and understand instructions for operating equipment.
• Good personal grooming habits.
• Standing up to 8 hours and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and greet customers.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Stock shelves and maintain store cleanliness throughout shifts.
• Safeguard company assets and follow cash control procedures.
• Follow vendor check-in procedures and complete end of shift paperwork.
• Address spills or hazardous conditions promptly and safely.
• Other duties may be assigned by the Store Manager.
