Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve concerns promptly and politely.
• Operate front-end scanning equipment and cash register; bag merchandise efficiently.
• Ensure accurate transactions and proper handling of cash, checks, electronic payments and coupons.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ads and promotions to assist customers.
• Maintain department sanitation and follow cleaning schedules to meet health and OSHA requirements.
• Cooperate with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth department and store operations.
• May assist in other departments as needed.
