Job summary

Houchens Food Group, Inc. is seeking a Floor Associate for our Ace Hardware location in Pennsylvania. You will engage customers, determine their needs, and assist across departments while maintaining cleanliness and stock levels.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, restocking displays, handling special orders, and promoting Ace Rewards. Strong customer service and Spanish bilingual skills are highly valued; flexible availability is required.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Skilled at providing prompt, friendly and attentive customer service.
• Strong organizational skills with a passion for details.
• Willing to learn all areas of the store and help train others.
• Proven track record of being a team player.
• Knowledge and experience of various departments is strongly desired.
• A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required.
• Availability must be flexible including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written communication skills strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help unload incoming trucks and stock merchandise in your department.
• Maintain your assigned department: keep it clean, organized and fully stocked.
• Execute daily goals with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Cooperate with others and work well as part of a retail team; participate in daily huddle meetings.
• Remove promotional bin tags and price tags after events.
• Restock merchandise displays; watch end caps and side wings.
• Handle special orders for non-stock items with supervisor approval.
• Promote the Ace Rewards program and provide excellent customer service.
