Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Ocean City, MD is hiring for a retail associate role to deliver an exceptional customer experience, process transactions, and maintain store standards at our HomeGoods location.

You will interact with customers, promote loyalty programs, and help ensure a clean, organized sales floor. Typical duties include assisting customers, handling purchases, supporting inventory and merchandising, and contributing to loss prevention efforts.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer.
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows established procedures.
• Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor.
• Initiates and participates in store recovery throughout the day.
• Maintains cleanliness and recovery standards for the sales floor and store.
• Supports store shrink reduction goals and programs.
