Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service team. You will assist customers with rentals, inspect and maintain equipment, and use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to dispatch and return gear.

The role includes moving and hooking up trucks and trailers, preparing invoices, educating customers, and participating in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or aptitude preferred.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use the U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot, including fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane and forklift operation (certifications offered upon employment).
• Join in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
