Motion Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Amarillo, TX to support customers under close supervision. The role focuses on accurate order entry, answering product inquiries, and maintaining effective communication with customers and internal teams.

You will be responsible for processing orders, arranging shipping, and supporting account representatives to ensure satisfaction and timely delivery. Strong communication and organization are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 0–3 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Reliability, organization and attention to detail are essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Moderate computer skills, including using business systems and internet searches to locate products.

Responsibilities

• Responds to basic customer inquiries, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
• Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk‑in (counter sales).
• Negotiates sale price and purchase price within parameters to influence gross profit.
• Place orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per purchase order without approval.
• Sours products in branch or supplier inventories and determines cost-effective shipping methods.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business and improves processes.
• Expedites backorders and prepares orders for shipment to customers.
• Handles customer returns and supports Account Representatives to ensure satisfaction.
