Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Customer Experience Supervisor to lead hourly staff and drive daily operations for RDS and Lean Staffing. You will oversee ticket handling, productivity, and service levels to exceed customer expectations.

The role includes hiring involvement, training, and disciplinary actions as needed. Responsibilities include directing daily activities, supporting routing and quoting, optimizing workload, and enforcing policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years freight forwarding experience.
• In depth knowledge of Domestic Operations.
• 1-3 years of progressively responsible supervisory experience and/or team lead experience.
• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail and organizational skills.
• High initiative, self-motivation with a strong, interactive team player.

Responsibilities

• Direct the necessary daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean, and work environment for all employees.
• Assist in quoting, routing cargo, supporting the RDS operation. Keen sense of offering support to the team where needed.
• Plan, manage, and adjust the daily workload and staffing to minimize the unplanned overtime.
• Ensure company policies are communicated, applied, and enforced.
• Evaluate RDS results to identify root cause and corrective action; provide input to improve processes.
• Develop and understand the AS400 domestic system to optimize shipments from creation to posting revenue/expenses.
• Review and foster changes to systems and processes with focus on efficiency.
• Account management of clients within the furniture vertical.
• Other duties as assigned.
