Hannaford in Latham, NY is seeking a Front End/Service Desk associate to support customers at the front end and service desk. You will perform cashier functions, assist with service desk duties, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to learn multiple tasks. Prior cashier or service desk experience is a plus; full-time schedule with wages between $17.60 and $26.20 per hour.

Qualificações

• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions (18 years of age).
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the technical requirements of cashier and service desk/kiosk.

Responsabilidades

• Observe and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain neat, well-groomed appearance and follow personal appearance policy.
• Assign fixed activities to front end and service desk/kiosk associates during idle periods as outlined on assignment sheets.
• Assist in special projects and perform other functions as assigned by supervision.
• Support and comply with all safety standards; report needed repairs and keep area free of debris.
• Observe security standards and report abnormal behavior to management.
• Secure front-end change drawer when unattended; protect company assets.
• Maintain general housekeeping and sanitation per store policy and health regulations.
• Perform cashier and/or bagging functions; assist service desk/kiosk when trained.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager of Customer Service.
