Job summary

Hannaford is seeking front-end staff at our Ballston Spa area location to manage cashier and service desk duties, assist with store operations, and uphold safety and sanitation standards.

Role requires strong customer service and the ability to learn multiple tasks including cashier and service desk responsibilities. Training packets for cashier/service desk roles are provided, with opportunities for growth within a local store team.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Ability to perform cashier and service desk tasks.

Responsibilities

• Observe and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a neat appearance and personal appearance policy.
• Assign activities to front end and service desk associates.
• Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain safety standards and communicate needed repairs.
• Observe security standards and report abnormal behavior.
• Secure front-end cash drawer when unattended.
• Maintain sanitation standards and store policy compliance.
• Frequent cashier and/or bagging duties.
• Frequent service desk/kiosk duties and basic bookkeeping if trained.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
