• Recommend grocery items to customers to ensure they get what they want.
• Check product quality to ensure freshness and monitor sell-by dates.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and temperature logs.
