Job summary

Heartland Co-op in Iowa is seeking a front-line clerk to support daily customer service, billing and payments. You will manage transactions, run the scale, and help maintain grain and inventory records under the supervision of the location manager.

The role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and basic computer skills; familiarity with grain software is a plus. This is a full-time on-site position at our Dallas Center location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience preferred or training provided.
• Ability to read and write simple correspondence.
• Knowledge of grain and inventory software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service via email, face-to-face, telephone and live chat.
• Bill products, receive payments, run scale, and track inventory.
• Assist location manager with grain, petroleum, feed and agronomy records.
• Process prepayments and bookings for products; price and process payments.
• Reconcile cash at end of day and prepare deposits.
