Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Process customer transactions through the check lane quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle tenders as required by policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss-prevention guidelines.
• Follow policies for restricted sale items and coupons.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Inspect equipment and report any repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment and answer product questions store-wide.
• Follow all laws and company guidelines, and work cooperatively in a fast-paced setting.
• Manage conflicts calmly and with integrity, and assist customers including minors or individuals with special needs.
