Job summary

Harmons Grocery in Utah is seeking a Full-time Reduced position (30-36 hours) with pay of $15.00 - $18.52 per hour to ensure customers leave with a positive experience. You will process refunds, answer phones, provide postal services, process money orders, fill balloon orders, cash checks, and register Foodie Club Cards, while delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities include cash handling, till preparation, deposits, and assisting customers with Western Union services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math skills used for making change.
• Strong communication skills with customers and fellow associates.

Responsibilities

• Follows established department and store policies and procedures.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of Guest Services areas.
• Stocks Guest Services with needed supplies.
• Counts cash, postage, and other inventory at start and end of day.
• Prepares new tills for the next day.
• Rolls loose coins and sorts cash.
• Prepares cash and checks for deposit.
• Provides loans to cashiers.
• Processes refunds.
• Performs postal services and registers Foodie Club Cards.
• Answers phones, faxes, and makes copies.
• Handles Western Union services and guards against fraud.
• Cashes payroll checks.
• Sells balloons, licenses, tickets, and more.
• Tracks tools for associates.
• Scans items quickly and accurately.
