Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers in the store
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently
• Operate the POS system and handle cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC and other tenders
• Adhere to company policies on cash handling, loss prevention and restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs)
• Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards and coupons and stay current with ads
• Ensure food safety regulations and safety procedures are followed
• Create a welcoming environment and assist customers with product questions
