Job summary

Big Creek Lumber Company is seeking a dedicated cashier/customer service associate to deliver high-quality service on the sales floor in central California. You will greet customers, process transactions, assist with product inquiries, and support stocking and merchandising tasks to drive store performance.

The role requires accurate cash handling, 10-key proficiency, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A full-time schedule with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Greet customers with a positive, professional approach and provide exceptional service.
• Perform cashiering tasks accurately and handle cash, checks, and card payments.
• Assist customers on the sales floor and with store product inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Invoice customer purchases and process transactions using the POS system.
• Answer phones and provide back-up sales floor coverage to increase sales.
• Assist with ordering, pricing, stocking merchandise and maintaining store housekeeping.
• Acquire product knowledge and communicate effectively with customers and team.
