Job summary

You will process transactions accurately using the POS system, handle various payment types, follow company policies, and look for opportunities to delight customers while upholding food-safety and loss-prevention guidelines.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience essential.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Basic math (counting, addition, subtraction) required.

Responsibilities

• Cashier/Checker greets customers and assists them.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand POS system and handle tenders (cash, credit, debit, SNAP/EBT, WIC, coupons).
• Follow company policies on cash handling and loss prevention.
• Maintain food safety and follow safety guidelines.
• Provide friendly service to all customers and support store operations.
