Job summary

Rural King is hiring a Cashier to deliver exceptional customer service and accurate transactions at our Marion store. You will greet customers, process sales, and promote Rural King loyalty programs and Visa options while maintaining a welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes cash handling accuracy, adherence to policies, and collaboration with loaders and associates to meet customer needs. Prior cashier experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and a desire to help others.
• Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and initiative.
• Proven ability to listen actively and respond clearly to customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with transactions to ensure a welcoming store experience.
• Process transactions accurately and follow cashier scripts for loyalty programs and protections.
• Educate customers on Rural King programs such as RK Visa and RK Plus Protection Plan.
• Maintain accuracy in register reconciliation and paperwork.
