Rural King is seeking a friendly Cashier to warmly greet customers, process transactions accurately, and maintain a welcoming front-end area. You will be the frontline representative, explain the loyalty program and RK Visa, and ensure a smooth checkout experience in a fast-paced retail setting.

The position emphasizes attentive service, teamwork, loss prevention awareness, and flexibility to assist in stocking and store cleanliness while following company policies and scripts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver outstanding service.
• Process transactions accurately at the register.
• Explain loyalty programs, RK Visa, and RK Plus Protection Plan (RKPPP).
• Follow cashier scripts and assist with returns, layaway, and exchanges.
• Maintain a welcoming store environment and coordinate with loaders.
• Handle price disputes professionally and maintain accuracy.
• Promote the Rural King loyalty program and Visa benefits.
• Answer customer inquiries and provide product information.
• Respond to phone calls with professional etiquette.
• Stock coolers, clean front windows, and manage restocking tasks.
• Keep carts and restrooms clean and presentable.
• Leverage cross-training for flexibility across departments.
