Job summary

Rural King is seeking a friendly Cashier to deliver outstanding customer service at our store. You will greet customers, process transactions accurately, and maintain a welcoming shopping environment while representing the Rural King brand.

Responsibilities include following cashier scripts, promoting the loyalty program and RK Visa, handling returns and price checks, and keeping the front area clean and stocked. Prioritize accuracy, courtesy, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay flexible.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and process transactions accurately.
• Maintain a welcoming store environment and assist customers as they enter the store.
• Follow cashier scripts and educate customers on loyalty programs (RK Visa, RK Plus Protection Plan).
• Handle cash management, returns, layaway, and exchanges with accuracy.
• Communicate professionally with customers and Rural King associates.
• Provide product information and recommendations when appropriate.
• Assist loaders and respond to customer requests promptly.
• Ensure price disputes are resolved professionally.
• Stand at registers area to assist customers when not processing transactions.
• Promote Rural King loyalty benefits and personalized recommendations.
• Engage customers during transactions and explain cashier processes.
