Job summary

Rural King is seeking a friendly and dependable cashier to deliver top-tier service to customers in our Indiana store. You will greet customers, process transactions, explain our loyalty program, RK Visa, and RKPPP, and uphold store standards.

You will also manage cash handling, returns, and price inquiries with accuracy, while maintaining a welcoming environment and assisting with general duties across departments.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
• Proficiency in adapting communication style to diverse backgrounds and roles.

Responsibilities

• Exceed customer expectations by delivering outstanding service through clear communication and active listening.
• Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor as they enter the store.
• Follow cashier scripts to assist customers and educate on loyalty programs, RK Visa, and RK Plus Protection Plan.
• Execute cash management, returns, layaway, and exchange policies with accuracy.
• Maintain professional interactions with customers and Rural King associates.
• Provide product information and answer inquiries, offering recommendations as appropriate.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning, and general store upkeep; respond to customer requests promptly.
