Qualifications

• Customer service experience
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers at the checkout and throughout the store.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand POS system and handle cash, checks, credit/debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and loyalty offers.
• Adhere to cash-handling limits and company policies to prevent loss.
• Follow guidelines for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow shelf and coupon procedures.
• Stay current with ads and promotions; maintain food safety and safety guidelines.
• Assist customers and coworkers in a high-paced environment; manage conflicts calmly.
