Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers at the checkout.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand POS system and handle cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC and coupons per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention procedures.
• Follow guidelines for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Provide helpful answers about products and store services.
