Job summary

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).

Responsibilities

• Greeting, engaging and assisting customers.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately.
• Understand POS system and handle various tenders per company policy.
• Follow cash handling limits and loss-prevention guidelines.
• Adhere to guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
• Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards and coupons.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to safety and food safety regulations.
