The Kroger Co. in California is seeking a friendly Cashier/Checker to deliver outstanding customer service at our Los Angeles area store. You will greet customers, process transactions accurately at the POS, and maintain a clean, safe checkout area.

This role requires good math skills, effective communication, and the ability to follow store policies on payments, discounts, and responsible handling of restricted items. Prior cashier experience is a plus.

• Knowledge of basic math.

Responsabilités

• Greet, engage and assist customers while cashiering.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the POS.
• Handle tenders including cash, checks, credit/debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons per policy.
• Follow cash handling limits and prevent loss with honesty and integrity.
• Adhere to guidelines for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons procedures.
• Stay current with ads and promotions and ensure a clean, safe checkout area.
