Job summary

Dollar Tree in Lawrence Township, New Jersey is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, handle transactions at the register, and help maintain a secure, friendly store environment.

Responsibilities include stocking and replenishing merchandise, unloading trucks, keeping areas neat and presentable, and supporting leadership with daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
