Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Wall Township, NJ, seeks a Part-time Customer Service Associate to create a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, and maintain store cleanliness.

Responsibilities include unloading merchandise, restocking, and upholding safety and professionalism with customers and team members. Prior retail or service experience is preferred; high school diploma is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and be able to stand and move for extended periods.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
