Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Virginia LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

The role requires strong customer service, good communication, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs repeatedly. Part-time hours with flexible scheduling are available, and you’ll work closely with store leadership to ensure a positive shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail/customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
