Local Eclectic Inc. is seeking a part-time Customer Experience Associate to provide personalized support via email and live chat, and to assist with order, returns, and warranty processes. This role operates in person at our flagship store in Chicago and follows a variable schedule aligned with seasonal demand.

You will update orders, manage inventory, and share customer feedback with the team to drive improvements. Remote work is not available for this position.

Qualifications

Customer Experience Associate (Part-Time)

Overview

Local Eclectic is a Chicago-based fine jewelry company operating five proprietary brands (Family Gold, For You With Love, Harvest Moon, Carried Jewels, Period Piece), with wholesale partnerships including Nordstrom, Anthropologie, and Free People. We have now expanded beyond e-commerce with a flagship retail store and café opening at 212 E. Ontario in downtown Chicago — adding an in-person, high-touch dimension to a highly engaged, authentic customer base.

Role Description

Local Eclectic is hiring several part-time Customer Experience Associates to give customers personalized support over email and live chat. Customer service associates will also handle order and inventory tasks for returns and warranty claims which might include shipping and fulfillment. Associates will also routinely share customer feedback on products and processes with the wider team so we can keep improving. This role has variable hours that follow our seasonal volume, with more hours during peak periods such as holidays and launches and fewer during slower stretches. It suits people who want part-time work with a variable schedule. This position is in person at our flagship location at 212 East Ontario. This is not a remote position.

Qualifications

• Availability: Flexible part-time schedule, typically 10-29 hours per week, varying with business needs. Shifts fall between 8am and 6pm, Monday through Friday. Must be able to work onsite at our Chicago Streeterville location for scheduled shifts. Weekend availability is required during peak periods, including Black Friday through Cyber Monday.
