Job summary

Local Eclectic Inc. is seeking a part-time Customer Experience Associate to provide personalized support via email and live chat, and to assist with order, returns, and warranty processes. This role operates in person at our flagship store in Chicago and follows a variable schedule aligned with seasonal demand.

You will update orders, manage inventory, and share customer feedback with the team to drive improvements. Remote work is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• Part-time, 10–29 hours per week; on-site at Chicago Streeterville location.
• Excellent written communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to independently problem solve and navigate complex customer issues.
• Sound judgment: know when to resolve or escalate.
• Comfortable learning new software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries by email and live chat in Local Eclectic’s brand voice.
• Process returns, exchanges, and warranty claims from start to finish.
• Update order and inventory records across operational platforms.
• Resolve routine issues independently and escalate complex ones to the team.
• Report recurring customer feedback on products and processes.
• Team members will be measured against weekly productivity and quality benchmarks.
