Job summary

Family Dollar in Montrose, Pennsylvania is hiring a Customer Service Associate to help shoppers and deliver a great store experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, and manage sales transactions at the register.

You’ll protect cash and company assets, keep shelves stocked, unload merchandise, and maintain cleanliness and safety. A part-time role with training and opportunities to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail/hospitality/food service experience highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and a presentable store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
