Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of South Carolina LLC is seeking part-time team members to help customers, manage transactions, and keep the store well-stocked and presentable. You will assist customers, handle cash, receive merchandise, and maintain a safe, friendly store environment.

The role requires customer service experience, the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and strong organizational and communication skills. You’ll work as part of a team to support store operations and provide a positive shopping

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and overall store presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
