Family Dollar Stores Of Tennessee LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, protect cash, stock shelves, receive merchandise, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, effective communication, and reliable teamwork while supporting leaders and fellow associates in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail/food service experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Strong customer service, relationship management, organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and waste, and keep areas neat.
• Other duties as assigned.
