Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Tennessee LLC seeks a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions at the register, maintain store appearance, stock and receive merchandise, and ensure a safe environment.

The role requires strong customer service, team interaction, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Emphasis on being organized, reliable, and friendly to customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and replenish merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks.
• Stock replenishment per productivity standards.
