Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Louisiana LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions, and ensure store cleanliness and safety in Morgan City, LA.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Part-time position with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Keep the store clean, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
