Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Ohio LLC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience in Minster, OH. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help keep the store organized and stocked.

This role emphasizes friendly customer interactions, safety, and efficient merchandising. Light lifting and standing are required, with a focus on teamwork and reliable, detail-oriented performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.”
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with staff and customers.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
