Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers with questions and recommendations, process sales at the register, stock shelves, unload trucks, and keep the store clean and orderly.

You will be expected to provide friendly, professional service, follow store procedures, lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work with teammates to ensure a positive shopping experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
