Job summary

Par Pacific, operating nomnom convenience stores, is hiring at our Spokane, WA location. You will deliver friendly, efficient service, operate the POS, and assist customers with fueling and snacks. You’ll join a collaborative team, learn safety standards, and contribute to store operations while advancing within a growing energy and retail company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in retail sales and handling cash preferred
• Perform basic math accurately
• Ability to communicate in English (oral and written)
• Ability to work various shifts as scheduled and arrive on time
• Ability to work with equipment, tools and materials as required
• Ability to perform essential duties and work in the described conditions

Responsibilities

• Consistently provide prompt and courteous customer service; may be required to assist customers at the gas pump
• Accurately ring up all sales on POS system; comply with cash handling procedures and other payment types
• Responsible for all cash and other forms of tender (e.g., coupons)
• Comply with company policies and store procedures; follow safety and environmental policies
• Assist in receiving, stocking and organizing merchandise
• Maintain proper inventory levels and conduct shift audits
• Participate in safety programs; attend mandatory job-related meetings/trainings
• Perform cleaning duties to maintain site cleanliness inside and out; assist with equipment upkeep and reporting problems
• Be a positive team player and collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive work environment
• Operate with minimal supervision and may work flexible hours; attend meetings and other duties as assigned
• Obtain and maintain all required food and age-restricted product certifications within 2 weeks of employment
