Job summary

Par Pacific is seeking a friendly Retail Team Member for nomnom convenience stores in the Pacific Northwest. You will assist neighbors with fuel, snacks, and service, ring up sales, and maintain store cleanliness and inventory while following safety procedures.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, cash handling, and the ability to work flexible shifts. This is a full-time position located in Spokane, WA, with competitive hourly pay and a shift differential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales and handling cash preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately.
• Ability to communicate in English (oral and written).
• Ability to work various shifts and arrive on time.
• Ability to operate equipment and POS system as required.
• Ability to perform essential duties and work in the conditions described.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service; may assist customers at the gas pump.
• Ring up all sales on POS system and handle cash and other tender types.
• Maintain cash, coupons, and other forms of payment according to procedures.
• Follow company policies, safety and environmental procedures.
• Receive, stock, and organize merchandise.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and perform shift audits.
• Participate in safety programs and trainings; attend required meetings.
• Perform cleaning to keep the site and equipment clean and functional.
• Be a positive team player and work cohesively with colleagues.
• Work with minimal supervision and flexible hours as needed.
• Obtain and maintain required food and age-restricted product certifications within 2 weeks of employment.
