Job summary

Qualifications

• Must read and apply company procedure documents.
• Must work well in a team and follow directions from supervisors.
• Ability to multitask and monitor activity at pumps and in-store.
• Must operate microwaves, small ovens, and other kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work under stress with a calm demeanor during high-volume periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate, undivided attention to customers.
• Participate in promotions and store programs.
• Complete required training within set periods.
• Receive and prepare deli orders and handle food safely.
• Be aware of weekly/monthly promotions and encourage sales.
• Accept payments and give accurate change.
• Operate cash register, card scanners, and related equipment.
• Monitor gas pumps and ensure safe fuel dispensation and accurate transactions.
• Follow Serve-Safe guidelines and maintain portion control and recipes.
• Control deli waste and food spoilage; manage inventory dates.
• Read alpha-numeric data on registers and procedures accurately.
• Maintain temperature logs for food safety.
