Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Associate for our Palm Harbor, FL location. You will deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in finding products, and execute fast and accurate checkouts.

You’ll also help unload trucks, stock shelves, and participate in BOPIS/SFS and in-store merchandising tasks. This role supports store operations, returns, and general recovery while adhering to SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and stocking.
• Comfort with checkout and POS transactions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and a fast checkout experience.
• Assist with unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, and maintaining shelves.
• Support omnichannel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in planograms and AD sets; keep store recovery and merchandising in order.
• Adhere to SOPs, safety guidelines, and company policies; promote a positive store image.
