Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Ohio LLC in Jeffersonville, IN seeks a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, safe store with professional interactions.

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred; ability to lift 30–50 lbs and follow instructions is required. This role offers part-time hours in a busy retail environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
