Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Pennsylvania LLC in the United States is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers, manage sales at the register, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

You will assist with unloading trucks, restocking, and provide friendly interactions with customers and teammates. This is a part-time role with benefits including Employee Assistance Program, retirement plans, and educational assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and other physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, andTrash disposal.
