Position Summary

As a Customer Service Associate, you will be key to delivering exceptional service and fostering positive customer interactions. Your main responsibility is to ensure a smooth, personalized customer experience that leaves a positive impression.

Essential Functions
  • Engage with customers, develop relationships, and possess substantial product knowledge.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, greeting and acknowledging every customer.
  • Educate customers on the sales process, assess needs, and help locate products matching their color demands.
  • Assist clients in selecting slabs and tiles for their projects.
  • Coordinate marketing efforts with architects, designers, and the public.
  • Support dealers such as fabricators and tile distributors with sales and orders.
  • Handle phones, organize the designer room, file paperwork, and answer customer inquiries.
  • Record customer visits and selections, create holds, and communicate with account managers.
  • Create sales orders, manage pickup/delivery lists, and handle invoicing and payments.
  • Maintain hold reports and send expired holds to Account Managers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Basic computer skills and professional phone etiquette.
  • Well-organized, self-directed, with the ability to prioritize.
  • Meet deadlines promptly.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Ability to interpret instructions and communicate effectively.
  • Availability to work Saturdays, depending on schedule.
  • Showroom sales skills in a high-end environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Self-driven, organized, detail-oriented.
Education and Experience
  • Associate’s degree or industry experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience in a multitasking environment required.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Extended periods on your feet.
  • Push/pull/lift over 20 lbs.
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
