Job Description
  1. Act as the voice of The Tie Bar on the frontline with consumers
  2. Deliver outstanding service via email, chat, voice, & SMS
  3. Manage and resolve inquiries from the daily inbox
  4. Collaborate with team members to assign, problem-solve, and triage service tickets
  5. Assist with questions in Slack channels
  6. Follow up on product reviews
  7. Process returns accurately and efficiently
  8. Proactively address consumer issues
  9. Continuously learn about products and technologies
  10. Educate and inspire consumers about our gear
  11. Represent The Tie Bar as a brand ambassador
  12. Engage with the community on social media
  13. Generate insights about the customer experience
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree
  2. Experience in customer experience or retail sales
  3. Decision-making based on the Golden Rule
  4. Ability to turn negative experiences into positive ones
  5. Empathetic and clear communication skills
  6. Problem-solving skills across diverse customer personalities
  7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  8. Detail-oriented and organized
  9. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  10. Team player with a can-do attitude
  11. Passion for quality gear, design, and sustainability
  12. Experience with Shopify, Gorgias, Klaviyo, and Loop is a plus
  13. Authorized to work in the U.S.
  14. Willing to commute to Chicago office 1-2 times weekly
