Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a Customer Experience Attendant in Waldorf, MD to greet customers, assist with bags and loading, and maintain a clean store environment. You will help keep carts, restrooms, and public areas orderly, and support cashiers as needed.

Responsibilities include responding to pages, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring safe entry/exit areas. This role emphasizes teamwork and customer service in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a high school diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers cheerfully and thank them as they leave, ensuring quality service.
• Retrieve and return shopping carts from premises; keep areas clear and safe.
• Assist customers by loading groceries into vehicles when needed.
• Maintain clean parking lot, vestibule, and front-end; empty trash and recycling receptacles.
• Assist cashiers with bagging groceries and respond promptly to intercom pages.
• Perform general cleaning: sweep, mop, wash floors, clean restrooms and break rooms, restock supplies.
• Report maintenance needs or unsafe conditions to store management.
