Job summary

Suddath Global Logistics, LLC seeks a Customer Engagement Representative to drive proactive outreach, gather feedback, and support relocation journeys. The role requires initiative, strategic communication, and the ability to influence customer behavior through engagement.

Key duties include initiating outbound contact, building rapport, managing high volumes of tasks and emails, ensuring accurate data entry, and collaborating with the customer service team.

Qualifications

  • Requires High School Diploma or GED; 3–5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree in accounting preferred. Prior experience in Accounts Payable required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate outbound contact with customers to encourage engagement surveys and gather insights.
  • Build rapport and trust with customers through professional communication.
  • Manage a high volume of tasks, emails, and customer interactions with precision and efficiency.
  • Support relocation-related administrative processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ensure customer data is accurately entered and maintained in internal systems.
  • Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and maximize customer touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to enhance the overall customer experience.

Job description

  • High School Diploma or GED required; three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in accounting preferred. Prior experience in Accounts Payable required.
  • Language Skills:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Mathematical Skills:
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Reasoning Ability:
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Computer Operations:
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn and effectively use software applications such as move management, accounting/billing, HRIS, timekeeping and other applications used in the performance of job duties.

  • Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as situations and needs change throughout the workday
  • Ability to multi-task and organize workflow to manage daily responsibilities, meet deadlines and prioritize work .
