Job summary

Goodwill Industries of South Florida is hiring for a front-line retail associate to support daily operations in a busy store. You will greet donors, process donations, assist customers, ring up sales, stock and tidy merchandise, and help with cleaning tasks to maintain a welcoming appearance.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior cashiering or customer service experience is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish is a bonus but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of related experience or training is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Prior cashiering experience is a plus. Knowledge of electronic devices.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, accept and unload donated items, and thank donors.
• Process donations: sort, tag, and prepare items for sale.
• Conduct sales transactions and manage cash and credit card procedures.
• Perform cleaning duties to maintain store appearance and report maintenance needs.
• Assist customers with pricing, product location, and store operations explanations.
