Job summary

Goodwill Central Coast is seeking a store associate to support daily operations at our Watsonville retail and donation sites. You will greet donors and customers, assist with product selection, handle cash transactions, and help open/close the store while maintaining a welcoming, safe environment.

This role requires basic math, cash register familiarity, and the ability to stand, lift up to 25 lbs, and work as part of a team. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior experience required; sales experience preferred.
• Basic math ability.
• Familiarity with store policies and cash registers.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and customers as they enter the store or donation site.
• Assist customers with product selections and recommendations.
• Learn cash handling and use of the cash register system.
