Job summary

Famous Supply in Youngwood, PA is hiring Counter Sales Associates to serve customers in person and by phone at our distribution center location. You will help contractors find materials, provide product solutions, and process orders. Starting wage is $21.00 per hour plus experience-based increases.

Branch hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am–4:30pm. Knowledge in HVAC or plumbing is preferred, along with basic computer use and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• HVAC and/or Plumbing knowledge.
• Customer service mindset.
• Ability to use computer.
• Ability to stand on feet for majority of an 8-hour day.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and helpful customer service.
• Understand customer needs.
• Provide the products and solutions to meet customer needs.
• Process and schedule customer orders.
• Process customer cash and credit card payments.
• Manage Open Orders and customer Bids.
• Pull orders from the warehouse to serve customers.
• Keep counter area clean and organized.
